We should go back to writing snail mail letters to one another, on scrapbooking paper, in ink.
Maybe then we would choose our words more carefully and write love letters again.
It would have to be in cursive, like a secret code only some generations get. We would have to be purposeful in selecting an envelope and stamp to fit the tone of what’s inside.
The whole process would slow down the brain and cause caution over rushing because it could be traced back to our signature.
And the signatures would be well crafted with a post script to match. Maybe it’s the romantic in me, but I want my mailbox to smell like parchment and calligraphy please.
Just a passing thought.
